Liberal Lorena Austin
In just four years in the Arizona House of Representatives, liberal Lorena Austin has shown her true colors. Austin voted to protect doctors who perform harmful trans procedures on minors. Austin voted against funding law enforcement. And Austin voted against a host of tax cuts, including on income, tips, overtime, groceries, and gas.
Leftist Jacob Martinez
Austin’s potential seatmate is just as extreme. He’s described himself as an “Antifa employee of the month,” claims to have been an advisor to Nancy Pelosi, and fully supports discriminatory DEI practices.
Crazy in the Classroom
Austin opposed an effort to expand college scholarships for law enforcement families and voted against expanding the Arizona Teachers Academy, which empowers teachers-in-training to pay off their college debt.
Martinez believes transgender men should be allowed to play in girls’ sports and that men should be allowed to use girls’ locker rooms. He even opposes investing in more School Resource Officers to increase school safety.
Anti-Public Safety Radicals
Austin and Martinez put their anti-police stances before the safety of you and your family.
In the Legislature, Austin repeatedly opposed efforts to fund law enforcement needs, including ballistic shields, dispatch upgrades, training simulators, and other public safety equipment. Austin’s vote against an effort to prevent municipal police budget cuts makes sense when you learn she was endorsed by Indivisible, the radical group that supports defunding our police and border patrol.
Martinez supported a proposal to ‘send crisis counselors, instead of police officers, to 911 calls,’ and supported the prosecution of Daniel Penny – the New York Good Samaritan protecting subway passengers from a dangerous homeless man.
